No One Can Separate Us From the Love of Christ!

September 15, 2017

In days where the love of many will grow cold and betrayal is destroying relationships, it’s wonderful to know how no one can separate us from the love of Christ! Recently, I sat down during my devotional time, and meditated on scriptures involving God’s goodness and love for me. During my adolescent years, I sought love and acceptance in all the wrong places, and the love and acceptance that came from those silly folk, had strings attached. Therefore, it was a false love that ruined my reputation and tore on my soul.

The Love of Christ Has no Strings Attached

Your soul will come alive with the love Christ wrapped around you. There’s no string attached…His love is ever flowing and never ending. All you have to do is be open enough to receive His love. The awesome way to receive from Him is to believe in His goodness…Rejecting satan’s lies God doesn’t care.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:31-39 NKJV

No one can separate you from the love of Christ. Corrie Ten Boom says, “There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still.” She should know because Corrie lost everyone in her family during the second-world-war. It’s also important for you to give love openly to God and to others.
