It’s a wonderful, amazing reality to know that we are alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord! It reminds me of this statement Jesus made to John, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful” (Revelation 21:5). This is a priceless truth, billions of people can have but it’s their choice to receive it. I chose to receive it the beginning of my senior year in high school, and it’s the right choice.
To better help those full of doubt concerning this truth we must study this statement written by the Apostle Paul:
“Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:18:21
Here we see it’s not enough to say I’m a good person! Because of one man’s offense judgment came to all men…Even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life (v. 18). Therefore, through Jesus and Jesus alone, you can be acceptable to God (not your own abilities on things society views as being good enough).
There is one truth and there is one way to God and His name is Jesus!
“For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:10-11
